Embroidery Artist & Fashion Designer
Rooted in Saudi heritage and shaped by global artistry, Reem’s work blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary elegance. Each creation whether a couture garment or a hand-embroidered artwork honors the past while boldly redefining modern femininity. Guided by emotion rather than trends, her pieces celebrate women who value individuality, depth, and quiet strength.
Her embroidery is a language of its own: storytelling through French DMC threads, Japanese beads, and a signature 3D technique developed over decades. Every stitch carries symbolism echoes of culture, fragments of memory, and the softness and power of womanhood.
Professional Foundation
Reem’s creative journey began in Florence, inside the embroidery studio of Roberto Cavalli, where the refinement of couture detailing shaped her artistic eye. She later worked in New York with Gianfranco Ferré, immersing herself in a world of architectural tailoring and expressive design. Returning to the Middle East, she became Head of the Fashion Department at Raffles Design Institute, mentoring emerging designers and contributing to the region’s growing creative landscape.
Her work has since been featured in Conde Nast Traveller Magazine, Sayidati Magazine, and celebrated across the industry. Her pieces have been worn by influential Saudi women including Fatima Al Banawi, Haya Sawan, and Mariam Moussalli, each embodying the spirit and sophistication of her designs.
Vision
Through fashion and art, Reem seeks to preserve the soul of Saudi heritage while presenting it with a modern, poetic lens. Her world whether discovered through her couture, her artworks, or her Breem gift line - is one where craftsmanship carries emotion, symbolism becomes style, and every thread tells a story meant to be felt.
